Club Pictures are on Thursday!

Math:  Today we completed Unit 3B by learning about Proportions (2 equal ratios).  To solve a proportion, you can always cross multiply and divide.   Students worked together on their study guides for the unit using their keeper, math book and hook book.

HW:  Study session (this week only) will be on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 8:20. Finish your study guide (use all your resources!), Unit 3 B Test is Friday (covering ratio, percent, conversion, and proportions).

Enrichment:  New enrichment classes began today.  We covered procedures, the syllabus, grading weights, requirements to bring to class, and how the class will be structured.  Every Friday we will have 2 quizzes:  vocabulary and computation challenge (basic skills).

We defined our general math vocabulary using a cootie catcher study strategy.

HW:  Get your syllabus signed, bring a silent reading book if you have one (we will be going to the library tomorrow to check out our first book)
