BUDDY PICTURES!  If you would like to be in a buddy picture, they will be taken Feb. 2nd in room 731.  You can be in a maximum of 2 groups.  Groups may only be up to 5 students of the same grade level.  (You may take a picture with your sister or brother from LMMS if you want as one of your pictures.) Each person in the picture must pay $10.  You must sign up for buddy pictures Jan. 27th - Feb. 1st in the 7th grade commons between 8:40-9:10.  Order forms are coming home tomorrow.

Math:  We reviewed for the Unit 5 Symmetry Test.

We began preliminary work on measurement for Unit 6 Scale Factor by determining the fraction of an inch (1/2,1/4,1/8,1/16).

HW:  If your class was able to begin the measurement worksheet, bring it back tomorrow or Monday to finish it.  If your class did not get to this worksheet, you will get it on Monday to complete. Bring back your Rotational Symmetry Performance Task to work on in class after the Unit 5 Test tomorrow.  Study chapter 8, lessons 10 and 11, keeper notes #30 and 31, your study guide and Hook book to prepare for the Unit 5 Test on Friday.

Enrichment:  We checked our exponent sheet.  We completed our CC skill on multiplying and dividing multiple digit whole numbers.  Today's focus was prime factorization.

HW:  Finish your prime factorization sheet, study your vocabulary flashcards - quiz tomorrow, CC quiz tomorrow.  Homework  in enrichment is usually studying vocabulary,reading for your log and finishing classwork. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS THAT DID NOT FINISH THE EXPONENT SHEET LAST NIGHT, ALL FUTURE ASSIGNMENTS WILL DROP TO A 50% IF NOT COMPLETED BY THE NEXT DAY. (You may turn in your exponent sheet tomorrow for 10% off, but this will be the last time this will be the deduction.)
