We added KEEPER notes today on how to solve Literal Equations.  Please take the time to watch the tutorial on the Holt website that we watched in class today.  Go to the website (detailed directions are on the blog for Oct 20).  This is in the red Algebra I book.  You want to select "videos".  Watch the chapter 2 lesson 5 video example 3.

HOMEWORK:  Red workbook p.13 (2-5) do all problems.

PARENTS:  Please check Pinnacle.  There are many missing assignments.  I will accept missing work NO LATER than Monday for partial credit.

Today we reviewed integer rules for Multiplication and Division.

We are taking a day or two to review integers.  Many students are struggling with negative numbers.

We took our solving equations quiz on Monday.  Using those results, we broke into groups and did partner activities today.

We practiced solving equations with variables on both sides.  Remember that you can get the answers "no solution" or "all real #s".

We took our unit 2 test today.  Tonight's homework is a take-home quiz.  It is made up of 7th grade skills.  Use all of your resources to da as well as possible on this quiz.  We will have a KEEPER check on Monday.
