We practiced shading sets today.

HOMEWORK:  Finish the 2 half sheets from class.  The shading sheet should help you to visualize the sets on the other sheet.

We practiced using set notation in class today as well as played a game of "Fly Swatter Math".

HOMEWORK:  Finish classwork, work on 1/2 sheet for solving equations (due next Tues), get syllabus and textbook contract signed

Today we took notes on "Set Notation".  Take a look at these notes tonight.  We will play a game with them tomorrow.

HOMEWORK:  Begin the 1/2 sheet "Review-Solving Equations".  This assignment will be due on Tuesday, September 6.

Please turn in your signed syllabus and textbook contract.

There will be a study session in the morning at 8:20.  Come if you have any questions!

We had a SURPRISE QUIZ today.  These grades will replace the previous quiz.  This is a rare event and will probably not be repeated this year!

REMEMBER!!! Get your textbook contract and syllabus signed.

This has been a GREAT first week of school!

We practiced with tree diagrams today in class.  These will be on the QUIZ that we will take next Wednesday.  In addition to that, the quiz will include simple and compound probability.

We took our 2nd set of KEEPER notes today on "Tree Diagrams/Counting Principle".  Remember to get a copy of the notes from the crate if you were absent. 

We started a worksheet in class that involved creating tree diagrams and using the counting principal.  Use your KEEPER notes at home tonight as you complete that worksheet.
