If you were absent today, it would be best for you to take the test Monday morning at 8:30. You can take it during class, but it may not a quiet environment. 

We will study Electricity next. Read Ch. 17 and start studying the vocabulary.

Thermal Energy & Review for Test

Honor roll Students, meet us for a celebration at Stars and Strikes tomorrow after school!

On Monday, we watched a power point and took notes on Thermal Energy. Students need to complete a handout for reinforcement.

On Tuesday, students worked on the Chapter Review for the test. The test will be on Friday, 1/27. Study nightly!

Photostory Presentations and Notes

  Today, we watched the Phototory Presentations and took notes as warm-up #42. Be sure to copy the examples from the attached document because those will be on the test. Download Presentation notes-forms of energy  The test should be on Thurs. 1/26. Please study the green notes pages, and the above examples nightly.

 Students will receive the Chapter Review on Tues to work on in class. If you would like to start working on it earlier, print attached. Download Ch. 9 & 10 Review Study nightly!!!

Last day in computer lab. Photostory due tomorrow!

Homeroom teachers please announce the following to your students and attach to your blogs.

Freestyle (buddy) photos will be February 2. Students may sign up for a MAXIMUM of 2 groups with NO MORE than 5 people per group. Groups should consist of only students in their grade level. The  exception would be if siblings in different grade levels wish to have their pictures taken together.  On the day of the picture, students must have a pass and money to have their photos taken.

Photo group sign ups will take place in the 700 Commons from 8:50 - 9:10 beginning Wednesday, January 25th through Wednesday, February 1.  Photos will cost $10 per person in each group. Payment should be presented to the photographer. Order forms will be distributed next week. 

Once students have signed up for groups, they will receive a schedule/pass in homeroom on February 2 to report to room 731 for photos.
