Science: Today students completed the 6 Kingdoms tri-fold and their Chapter 9 study guide.  Both are due Wednesday.  Reminder! Chapter 9 test is Wednesday 3-25-09.  Some students will be out tomorrow, so I am posting Tuesday's assignments today. 

Tuesday's class assignment:  Students will use 3 to 4 sheets of regular notebook paper to create a “Pictionary” vocabulary book.  Students will follow the directions on the Pictionary Rubric and define the following list of words: classification, taxonomy, Carolus Linnaeus, genus, species, dichotomous key,  prokaryotes, eukaryotes, autotrophic, heterotrophic.

Each page must have:

Word and definition 2pts.

Picture (neat and creative, able to stand alone and colored) 4pts.

A sentence using the work in context 2 pts.

Creativity and neatness 10 pts.

 

Social Studies: Today we finished the Gandhi movie.  Reminder! The Chapter 22 test is this Wednesday the 25th.  Study guides are due Wednesday also.  Some students will be out Tuesday, so I am posting Tuesdays assignments today.
