6th Grade Homework: you have a quiz (retake) in Social Studies Monday. Make sure you can discuss and understand the Russian Revolution, hardships the Germans faced after the Treaty of Versailles, effects of the worldwide depression, rise of Nazism and the impact of WWII in terms of the holocaust.Review/study the two sheets recently completed in class and the pages in the crct book. The quiz will be very similar to the one you took in class Thursday. I'm allowing the students to retake the quiz because it appears they did not take the time to check the blog Wednesday night in prepapring for the quiz. You can always look back (check Wednesday's blog) and see the reminders and information that I share with the students. I told the kids in class and on my blog exactly what they would be responsible for on the quiz. I think part of the problem is they always like to see a multiple choice test but to me that's just memeorization...I like for them to have to think!
