Remember, your first site visit is due October 17th...don't wait until the last minute. Once you get home you can write the report using the rubric given to you in class. The following is a list of some of the places you can visit: Kennesaw Mountain, Picketts Mill, Southern Museum - Civil War History, Kennesaw House, Etowah Indian Mounds, New Echota, etc. Click on the following link for more ideas (places to visit): Download Site-visit places . Try to take the site visit with friend and have some fun! If you go to the Kennesaw House on the square, stop by and have lunch at Marietta Pizza Company...if you like New York style pizza.
If for some reason (I've given you six weekends) you can't make a site visit, let me know this week and I'll give you an alternate assignment.
