6th Grade Homework: Study - you should spend some time studying prior to the test next Monday. I will give the test Monday 10-31-11: European Colonization, Explorers and Empires, pages 156,157 and 158 in the crct test prep book. Also look over the work in your new folder...questions will be pulled from the crct pages and the work in your folder.
8th Grade - yes, you have homework this weekend: IMPORTANT PROJECT INFORMATION: Download Chadwick's american revolution project or you can choose to do the alternate assignment: Download Colonial Newspaper alternate assignment - the project is due Wednesday November 2nd, 2011and keep in mind we will not have ANY computer time at school to work on this particular project. If you open the alternate link above, I've posted a lot of links to help you with the research part. Remember, explain what happened and why with each event. I will call you up one at a time while grading your work and randomly select 5 elements and have you explain them to me. Group work (work with a partner) only if you select the newspaper. The alternate assignment is independent work ONLY!
Make sure you do a good job with this assignment!
IMPORTANT... make sure you don't allow other students to copy your homework. Allowing someone to copy your work is just as bad as the person doing the copying. Homework is sometimes graded for completion and other times for accuracy and its obvious that some students are copying work. Copying homework or classwork needs to stop and stop now! If I see this happening with any school work, students involved will receive a zero and be sent to an administrator.
