8th GRADE - I have the computer lab reserved for Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3rd and 4th) and the presentations will begin Wednesday October 5th. Remember, your first site visit is due October 17th...don't wait until the last minute. All you need to do is visit a historical site ( I recommend going this weekend because the weather is suppose to be nice) and spend about 45-60 minutes collecting information for your report. Once you get home you can write the report using the rubric given to you in class. EQ: What are the 3 main religions of Europe?

Homework is posted below but please read the following information about Constitution Day (September 17th) first. Saturday is Constitution Day...the birthday of our government.

Most people are aware that July 4th is our nation’s birthday. However, few people know that September 17th is the birthday of our government. This is the date on which the delegates to the Philadelphia Convention completed and signed the Constitution. The ideas on which America was founded-commitment to the rule of law, limited government, and the ideals of liberty, equality, and justice are embedded in the United States Constitution, the oldest written constitution of any nation on Earth. Today we remember this special date in history, declared by the U.S. Congress as Constitution Day, celebrating not only the birthday of our government but the ideas that make us Americans.
