8th Grade Homework: students assigned a tiered assignment explaining the five regions in Georgia. The assignment was discussed in class today and is due this Friday August 26th. Reminder, make sure you include all the requirements. I gave the students a variety of formats to choose from...don't wait until Thursday night to start. Also, make sure you have a section in you notebook labeled Social Studies with three dividers labeled learning log, notebook and keepers.
6th Grade Homework for Tuesday Aug. 23rd: make sure you spend some time organizing and reviewing the information/assignments in your notebook. You will have a quiz covering the five strands of Social Studies this Friday...study your notebook entries. Parents, students should have a social studies section in a three binder with two dividers: one labeled Leaning Log and the other labeled Notebook.
