Week of May 11th - Accelerated Math I

This week we are reviewing circles and spheres. The test will be on Friday, May 15th. If you need the weekend to finish your notebook, you can turn it in on Monday. If you finish it before then, please turn it in early.

Homework for the week will be updated each day.

Monday's homework is to finish the worksheet we began in class on Area of a Shaded Region. We will do the back of the worksheet tomorrow in class.

Tuesday - No homework, we finished everything in class.

Wednesday - Homework is to finish the page on area of sectors and arc length. We began this in class.

Thursday - Homework is to study

Remember - You can turn in your skinny on Monday if you aren't ready tomorrow. Also, I need all books returned on Monday during class.

Week of May 11th - Math 7/8

This week we are working on the skinny notebooks.  I forgot about the benchmark test for the county, so I am going to move the due date of the notebook to next Monday. The benchmark test is tomorrow (Tuesday). 

7th grade celebration day is Thursday, May 14th. 

The only homework students in Math 7/8 will have this week is to work on their notebook.  The notebook is now due on Monday, May 18th.

Monday

Math 7/8 - All week students will be working on their skinny notebooks. Students need to bring paper to class. Homework for the week is to make sure the notebook is ready to turn in on Friday. You may turn it in early.

Acc Math I - Today and tomorrow we are reviewing for the EOCT. Wednesday and Thursday we are taking the EOCT. On Friday, your next notebook check is due. Homework is to work on the notebook and to study for the EOCT. Monday and Tuesday will have worksheets for homework.

Dear Parents,

Next week, on May 6^th and 7^th, Accelerated Math I students will take the Mathematics I End of Course Test. The test will be administered in two 90 minute sessions, one session on each day. Please make sure your student is at school on time and is prepared for the test each day.

We have begun reviewing all topics in class and for homework. Students who are going on the Disney trip will receive additional handouts to help them review.

Thursday

Math 7/8 - Today we continued working on our skinny notebook. The first check is due at the end of class tomorrow. All pages through page 8 should be complete.

Acc Math I - We continue to review for the EOCT. We completed the chapter review for chapter one in the EOCT workbook. A letter was sent home to all parents about the EOCT and review test items were given out. Students going to Disney were given the work they will be missing. Homework is a worksheet.

Wednesday

Math 7/8 - Today we continued to work on the skinny notebook.

Acc Math I - Today we talked about secant and tangent lenghts. Then we talked about the EOCT. Homework is a worksheet reviewing for the EOCT.

Acc Math I - Today we learned the formulas for area of a sector and arc length. Homework is page 40 on the back of the worksheet from class. We also worked on the diagnostic test that we began yesterday.
